Originations 8/9: Mortgage Blogger Props To Dan Green & Alex Stenback
I’m only doing two Originations links today so I can properly acknowledge two great mortgage bloggers: Dan Green of The Mortgage Reports and Alex Stenback of Behind The Mortgage. Like me, these two are both practicing mortgage bankers who remain true to their mission of translating markets and our industry for consumers.
Alex is more free-flow with Q&As, open house reports, and answering client emails, my favorite of which was this from 2009. Dan is a bit more dry and reporter-like but that’s exactly what you want in a writer who crunches and assembles data the way he does—including the chart I’m linking to. Here are pieces these two posted since yesterday: Dan on closing costs, Alex on today’s Fed statement. Both highly relevant for consumers. Nice work guys.
